The Beatles say it best in their song “Getting Better”
Dulu kalau ditanya orang “Hey Gwen, kamu masih sakit?” Jawaban saya pasti “iya, masih nih.”
Ask me now and my answer would be very different. I say “I’m getting better all the time.”
And this is fact.
I had overcome soooooo many symptoms. Banyak sekali gejala yang sudah semakin berkurang bahkan hilang sama sekali. Dan throughout my healing journey, saya belajar betapa pentingnya untuk menyadari & mengakuinya.
Why?
Our body listen to our thoughts/words/feelings. Tubuh kita “mendengarkan” semua apa yang kita pikirkan, katakan dan rasakan. Our body take its cue from these thoughts/words/feelings. And as our body take our lead, it will conspire to help you get better.
Here are some of the symptoms that I had overcome (gradually, they didn’t happen overnight, with the practice of good lifestyle, nutrition and the help of health practitioners):
- Chronic diarrhea
- Panic attacks
- Psoriasis
- Night sweats (hot flashes)
- Acne breakouts
- Missing period
If you’re on a healing journey, support it with your thoughts/words/actions. SAY IT out loud. ACKNOWLEDGE that you’re healing every day. RECOGNIZE them. CELEBRATE them. BELIEVE in them. LIVE them. EXPERIENCE them. Be GRATEFUL for them. No matter how small each healing step may be. You are healing, progressing and moving forward each day.
