Why You Should Eat Breakfast


Can you guess what’s my fave meal of the day?


BREAKFAST!


Why?


For me, what I eat for breakfast really sets the tone of the day.


And by tone of the day, it impacts the choices of food that I’ll be taking throughout the day. I can function/think/work better with breakfast. And it sets my mood for the rest of the day. And believe me, mood is EVERYTHING these days.


So I tend to stick with something savory (I avoid sweet and sugary things in the morning so I’m not spiking my blood sugar, keeping your blood sugar nice and balanced is also EVERYTHING these days), yang filling jadi ga dikit2 laper) and bloody hell right, super loaded with nutrition.


This is my staple breakfast, bubur yang dimasak dengan bone broth (superfood yang satu ini ga pernah ketinggalan, you can get yours at Pure Foods Company), got my egg, got my kimchi, and spring onion as probiotics and prebiotics, food for my army of good gut bacteria. These days I've been adding seaweed (great source of iodine) into my daily diet and I sprinkled some roasted sesame seeds.


Got my carbs, protein, and healthy fat (macronutrients) my pre & probiotics, my vitamins, and minerals (micronutrients) all in one bowl of yummy-ness.


Masih mikir makan sehat itu susah?!
